Our bathroom is the most important room in our house. Since it’s the dirtiest and the hardest room to clean, your bathroom shows how clean you are as a person.

Keeping a clean bathroom is necessary to keep a good hygiene and to prevent bacterial growth. Bacteria and other microorganisms tend to grow more in wet areas. Therefore, keeping your bathroom clean and dry is really important.

Step 1: Remove all the bathroom items from their usual spot.

Before you start cleaning, remove all of your products from the shower or bathtub. Toss all used rugs and towels outside the room. Remove all the items on the counters and most important of all, don’t forget to grab your trash cans.

Step 2: Dust the countertops

Your bathroom is not safe from dust. Therefore, you need to use a duster with a long handle to get rid of dust and cobwebs in corners, light fixtures, and vents. When you’re done, don’t forget to sweep the floors to remove the dirt you’ve collected.

Step 3: Put an all-purpose cleaner on your shower or bath tub

Let it sit for a few minutes while you are cleaning the other areas of your bathroom. Remember to apply the cleaner on all sides of your bathtub or shower.

Step 4: Clean all surfaces

Using your all-purpose cleaner and a sponge or a microfiber cloth, wipe the surfaces. Don’t forget the towel racks, baseboards, doors, blinds, shelves, and windowsills. Work in sections.

Step 5: Mix floor cleaning solutions

Grab a bucket and fill it up with a warm water and an all-purpose cleaner.

Step 6: Scrub the shower or tub

After a few minutes, go back to cleaning your tub or shower. Lightly scrub loose dirt and buildup. Make sure that you clean the walls, floors, and other areas before you rinse them out.

Step 7: Clean the vanity area

Spray the cleaner on faucets, countertops, and sink. Then, using a clean cloth, wipe them to dry. Use a dampened cloth to clean the cabinet faces and get rid of dust. Lastly, use a glass cleaner to clean your mirror.

Step 8: Clean the toilet

The all-purpose cleaner will get the job done if you are regularly cleaning your toilet. If you notice a build-up, use a toilet brush for scrubbing and then flush the toilet. Don’t forget to spray the cleaner on the sides and the outside portion of the toilet.

Step 9:  Mop the floor

Submerge your mop into the bucket of the cleaning material you mixed earlier. Squeeze out the excess water and mop your bathroom floor.

Step 10: Put the items back inside your bathroom

Once the floor is dry, put back the items you removed before cleaning. Replace the trash can, rugs, and towels. Replace the empty toilet rolls.
